Santa Fe Recovery Center is a nonprofit organization that has been providing compassionate treatment to support people throughout their full journey of recovery from addiction, substance use, and related mental illness since 2005.
We are committed to breaking down barriers to treatment and eliminating health disparities for disadvantaged populations severely impacted by historical trauma, unemployment, and other socioeconomic factors.
Schedule:
o Full Time o Monday-FridaySalary:
We offer a competitive salary based on experience.
Benefits for the Clinical Therapist:
o 90% for Medical, Dental, & Vision for full-time employees o 4% Matching 401k o 3 Weeks PTO o 7 Holidays o Pet Insurance (Corporate Discount)Duties and Responsibilities of the Counselor/Therapist are included but not limited to:
Conduct assessments on clients utilizing SFRC's biopsychosocial assessment (BPS) risk assessment and other evaluation tools to determine the ASAM criteria.
Provide individual and group therapy utilizing evidence-based and best practices in SUD treatment, psycho-education cognitive/behavioral methods, motivational interviewing, and holistic other therapeutic modalities.
Coordinate and collaborate with the Case Manager to provide referral services at other agencies for services not provided by SFRC.
Participates in initial and ongoing training on EBPs utilized for client service delivery.
Maintains fidelity to the EBPs being utilized.
Current New Mexico License as a Mental Health Counselor or Therapist (Independent License Preferred).
At least two years of experience working with clients with co-occurring mental health/substance abuse diagnoses, providing individual and group psychotherapy.
In the case of recovering SUD individuals, must have successfully maintained a two (2) year period of uninterrupted abstinence from alcohol and/or drugs.
Must be computer literate in order to effectively maintain compliance with BHSD Standards and requirements for the use of computerized client assessments, data systems, etc.
Maintain current, valid NM Driver's License.
Must also have and maintain a clean driving record and auto insurance.
Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural preferred.
