We believe in helping the community who have a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and provide a continuum of care starting from detox to outpatient services.

Under the direction and supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner performs a medical assessment of patients and prescribes or adjusts medications as indicated.
Evaluation, management, and prescribing services are rendered on-site at SFRC facilities.
On-call is required under the direction of medical and executive management.
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner collaborates with nursing and medical technician staff to facilitate admission, treatment, and successful discharge of patients with co-occurring substance use disorders.
Additional duties may include but are not limited to coordination of care with referral sources as well as educational support and interdisciplinary treatment consultation with patients, family members, caregivers, and staff.

Responsibilities:
Review patients' medical histories Conduct physical exams to check the patient's health Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays or blood tests, as required Assess and diagnose patients Give brief treatment, education, and counseling regarding diagnosed/concerns to patients and families Prescribe medications as needed On-Call Rotation SFRC pays for 90% of employee's premiums and 25% of their spouses and dependent children:

Minimum
Qualifications:
State of New Mexico licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required Possesses current DEA and NM-CSR licenses; preference is given to individuals with DEA-X (or eligible for DATA 2000 waiver) Minimum 3 years of experience working with co-occurring disorders, preferred Minimum 2 years of uninterrupted abstinence from substances for persons in recovery required Fluency in speaking and writing in Spanish; preferred Proficiency with office technology and equipment, such as computers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and phone systems, required Proficiency with MS Office applications, required Proficiency with electronic health/medical records (EHR/EMR) documentation, required Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Possesses a values base consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Agency Must have and maintain a current, valid NM driver's license.
Must also have and maintain a clean driving record, as well as auto insurance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
